Prof. Khalil Bedran

LEBANON

 

Prof. Khalil Bedran is currently Head of Division at St Georges University Medical Center and President of the Lebanese Society of Gastroenterology. Besides his position as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine, Gastroenterology - Proctology at the UOB Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Khalil Bedran is also a former Assistant Chairman (2000-2004), Vice-Chair (2004-2006) and member of the Medical and Technical Development Committee (2005-2007) at Saint Georges University Medical Centre. 


Prof. Bedran's main research interests are inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and fatty liver, where he is actively involved in numerous clinical trials.

LEBANON

 

Dr. Abbas Bahr is Head of the Gastroenterology Division at Bahman Hospital and an attending Consultant in Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Interventional Proctology in Lebanon, with previous activities in clinical research at Saint-Antoine Hospital. 

In addition to his role as a lecturer in gastroenterology at the Faculty of Medicine at LAU and LU Universities, Dr. Bahr's research interests include haematology and oncology.
